The foundation of the group will be Centering Prayer, but you will not need to be doing the practice to join. We will share videos,
discussions and a time of silence. It will be led by Carolyn and Dick Young, Centering Prayer Presenters and meditation teachers.

Intensive Centering Prayer Retreat
Tuesday, June 1, to Thursday, June 10, 2010
7:00 p.m. (Tuesday) to 1 p.m. (Thursday)
Check in: 6:15 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. (No Tuesday evening meal)
Presented by Katherine Howard, OSB, Saint Benedict's Monastery
Fee: $500 (Includes meals and overnight accommodations)
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required at the time of registration.
Sponsorship assisstance available.
A silent retreat for those who have been practicing centering prayer for at least six months. Each day will have three
one-hour sessions of centering prayer in 20- or 30-minute segments with a 5-minute contemplative walk between segments.
Daily videotapes on the spiritual and psychological foundations of Christian contemplative prayer will be shown
with time for questions, reflective comments and discussion following each viewing.
