We are delighted to return to the Hokyoji Retreat Center, located on 105 acres of forested land in the beautiful Driftless Area of Southeast Minnesota. Our first gathering is Wednesday evening dinner at 6:30 p.m., but guests are welcome to arrive from 3:00 p.m. onward to get settled, walk the trails, etc. We depart after lunch on Sunday. Experienced facilitators Mary Lapham and Tom Bostelmann will sustain your experience with a regular schedule that will consist of roughly 12 periods of Centering Prayer throughout the day, with breaks for meals. Attendees may participate in as many sessions as they feel called to. The organizers recommend that participants have an established centering prayer practice, and request that all plan to be present for the duration of the retreat and to honor silence throughout. Attendees may participate in as many centering prayer sessions as they feel called to. |
